I put on the helmet of salvation to protect my mind from twisted knowledge, wrong thinking, and unbelieving imaginations.
I shod my feet with the shoes of the gospel of peace, that I might live your word and spread your word wherever I go in whatever I do.
I take up the shield of faith and with it extinguishing every fiery dart of the evil one; thoughts of temptation, depression, failure, ruin, bitterness, confusion, etc.
Now I take up the sword of the spirit which is the word of God in prayer and begin to actively assault the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy me, attempting to keep me from entering Heaven.”
