Sandpaper Prayers
Let’s face it conflict happens but there are some people who just rub you the wrong way. Those people are referred to as “Sandpaper People”.
Invite the children to write or draw on a piece of sandpaper, things that those people may have said or done that hurt them. Discuss with them of how sandpaper is used to smooth a surface so that when they are faced by sandpaper people, which they will, they would know how to handle them. They should pray.
